Music is so emotive, it can make you happy, it can make you sad, and it can easily make you cry.
For a long time after Allan died I couldn't listen to any at all, it really felt like 'The Day The Music Died'
Here are some songs that make me think of Allan and often make me cry, sometimes we just need the release of tears.

Tears In Heaven - Eric Clapton
Precious Child - Karen Taylor-Good
Karen wrote this song some years ago in honour of her nephew Paul, who died aged 21.  On her web-site she offers it freely for download.
Leave Right Now - Will Young
Allan was a fan of Will Young's music, this track was released in November 2003, I can remember Allan singing along to it.
Sweet Child Of Mine - Guns 'n Roses
How Am I Supposed To Live Without You? - Michael Bolton
This was playing as we left the church after Allan's funeral, I still don't know the answer.
To Where You Are - Josh Groban
Bridge Over Troubled Water - Simon and Garfunkel
Wild Horses - The Rolling Stones
American Pie - Don McLean
Somehow this became 'our song', it was often played on the car radio and we used to sing along loudly, Allan loved the chorus.
You Are Not Alone - X-Factor Finalists
